100 Moments

a photography contest
and exhibition

In summer 2017, a photography contest will take place where Estonians are invited to capture their impression of Finland and the Finnish are encouraged to express their understanding of Estonia through images.

Everybody is invited to take part! And anything can be photographed: nature and people, things and events. The images may be accompanied by a story, but they could also speak for themselves.

The photographs will be shared on social media with special hashtags: #soomehetk for the Estonians’ pictures of Finland, and #vironhetki for the Finnish idea of their neighbours.

Prizes will be awarded to the best photographs.

100 MOMENTS
An exhibition in Estonia and in Finland

Juries from Estonia and Finland will both select 50 pictures to feature in an exhibition called “100 Moments”. The joint exhibition of these close neighbours will reflect the ways the two countries see each other.
