Finland 100 Concert

The concert is the main event of the Finland 100 celebrations in Estonia.

The line-up includes Finnish and Estonian pop/rock artists who will be performing together and individually:

A Finnish backing band will be accompanying the main acts throughout the night.

The free concert features both nostalgic tunes and young, fresh acts – Finnish and Estonian joint performances as well as interpretations of the neighbouring country’s songs. It provides an overview of the contemporary Finnish culture and its overlap with that of Estonia.

• Finnish-Estonian chamber orchestra will perform in St. John’s Church at 3 p.m.
• Exhibition “100 Objects from Finland” will be opened in the Estonian History Museum’s Maarjamäe stables.
• Finland will be the main theme of Tallinn Street Food Festival and TaDaa! Festival (10 to 11 June 2017).
• On the same day, Estonia and Finland will be celebrating their 100^th anniversary with a big football challenge. Estonian and Finnish teams will be meeting on both sides of the Gulf. 100games.eu

The concert will be broadcasted by the Estonian and the Finnish Public Broadcasting.
